4/11/2017 Course Aerification

We battled the rain and performed our first “pencil-tine” aerification today (4/11). This process involves making very small holes in the green (MUCH smaller than your typical fall aerification). This reduces compaction and thatch, and allows air and water to reach the roots.  We then sanded and added a topdressing to the greens, filling in the remaining holes and giving a smooth, fast finish to the putting surface. The grass is healthy and growing fast, so this will have little to no effect on play, and we'll be open again on 4/12!

3/29/2017 Bunker Renovation Nears Completion

Our Superintendent, Justin, and the entire maintenance staff worked hard and through the cold all winter to repair and replace 20+ Bunkers. We are nearly complete with all green side traps, and are scheduled to have all traps completed within the year. These renovations have vastly improved the look, feel, and playability of the course, and we invite you to come out and see our progress!
